DiPFA Module 5: Retirement Planning (AFAR) Classroom Course
The DiPFA Module 5: Retirement Planning (AFAR) classroom course is run over 3 days (9.30am to 5pm) and is based at our training centre in Potters Bar, Herts (North of London). Our DiPFA AFA Retirement Planning course forms part of the 6 modular based financial advising qualification and will cover both units 9 and 10. At Clarity FT we take you through each of the topics carefully, breaking it down simplistically. AFA Retirement Planning will look at state pensions by looking at how they work and the qualification criteria, as well as how they can form part of the overall financial wellbeing of the client. It will also cover work and private pensions and the tax regime applicable in order to properly advise clients during the accumulation phase including how much and where to invest to achieve an income in retirement. It will cover the vast area of technical knowledge required to understand all types of pensions as well as the decumulation phase and the various options on retirement and how they can be built into a clients financial planning. This will comprise of a 3 day course with a full tutor led course breaking down the entire content. Included is a hardcopy of the materials.
In addition you will receive the distance learning resources for 3 months from when you attend your classroom course. The Distance learning training includes simplified online videos, info graphics and online tools. In addition you will also get access to our “Mock-Quiz-Expert” multiple choice testing site with over 2,500 questions with detailed answers. Incorporated is email support and “ask a tutor” assistance.
