- The LIBF will offer exemptions if students have successfully completed modules under the old format.
- 13th January 2026 – All students on the old modules of CeMAP will be moved to the equivalent module(s) of the new version of CeMAP (except any CeMAP 1 students who requested to remain). The LIBF will stop examining the old version of CeMAP. You will have 12 months from the date of transfer to sit the exams you are registered for.
- 16th July 2026 – Final date that students can sit the old version of CeMAP 1 (will be withdrawn from this date).
Any student that has completed units or modules from the old version of CeMAP by the date they transfer to the new format will be given exemptions for some of the new units.
If you were previously granted an exemption for CeMAP 1 through recognition of prior learning, it will not automatically transfer to an FSRE exemption under the new system. To keep your CeMAP 1 exemption, you must complete CeMAP by 12th January 2026. If not, you’ll need to either complete FSRE or submit a new prior learning request with an equivalent qualification.
