CeMAP Training Course
Our CeMAP Training Course provides structured training and study support for those preparing for the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP) qualification and looking to develop a career as a Mortgage Adviser.
Clarity Financial Training is an LIBF Accredited Learning Support Provider, offering CeMAP training through classroom courses, live online webinars and flexible distance learning.
There are no formal entry requirements to begin studying CeMAP.
CeMAP Training Course Structure
Our complete tutor-led CeMAP training programme provides 10 days of training (9.30am to 5pm) and is divided into two sessions:
- FSRE – 5 days
- CeMAP 2 & 3 – 5 days
The training covers all three CeMAP modules and five units required for the complete qualification.
CeMAP Modules and Assessments
FSRE – Financial Services, Regulation & Ethics
- FRE1: Industry, Regulation and Key Parties – 50 multiple-choice questions, 1-hour assessment and 70% pass mark.
- FRE2: Skills, Principles and Ethical Behaviours – 50 multiple-choice questions, 1-hour assessment and 70% pass mark.
CeMAP 2 – Mortgages
- MRT1: Mortgage Law, Practice and Application – 50 multiple-choice questions, 1-hour assessment and 70% pass mark.
- MRT2: Mortgage Products and Post-Completion – 40 multiple-choice questions, 1-hour assessment and 70% pass mark.
CeMAP 3 – Assessment of Mortgage Advice Knowledge
- Assessment of Mortgage Advice Knowledge – 60 multiple-choice questions with a 70% pass mark.
All the required modules must be successfully completed to achieve the full CeMAP qualification.

CeMAP Classroom Training
Our 10-day classroom course is delivered face-to-face at our training centre in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire.
Classroom training provides structured teaching, direct interaction with your tutor and the opportunity to ask questions throughout the course.
CeMAP Live Webinar Training
Our 10-day live webinar course follows the same structured programme and is delivered remotely through Cisco Webex.
You attend scheduled sessions in real time, interact with your tutor and ask questions throughout the training.
CeMAP Distance Learning
Our CeMAP Distance Learning Course provides greater flexibility, allowing you to study at your own pace.
Training is based on recorded tutor-led teaching supported by study materials, practice questions and online resources. Our distance learning training is created and delivered by our tutors and is not AI-generated.

CeMAP Registration and Assessment Fees
Clarity FT course prices cover our training and study support only.
LIBF registration and assessment fees are not included and are payable separately to LIBF.
You do not need to register for an LIBF assessment before completing a Clarity FT training course.
